Description
Design of new mechanical room to replace equipment serving spaces in various building wings. Project required keeping existing areas in operation while new equipment was phased in and commissioned. In addition all equipment and materials required rigging through a roof opening as this Mechanical Room had no other access by the trades. Laser scanning of the room prior to design allowed greater degree of layout and pipe fabrication to facilitate field installation and minimize downtime for the client.
